Open the pre-trip form
In the driver app, open your pre-trip inspection.

Confirm your truck & trip
Enter/confirm your driver ID, vehicle number, and trip details.

Work the checklist
Go through each inspection item. Flag anything that's not right.

Add photos for defects
If you find a problem, add a photo so the shop can see it.

Submit
Submit the inspection. If you flagged a defect, it's reported for maintenance automatically.
If something makes the truck unsafe, don't roll — report the defect and tell your manager. Your inspection is the record that you flagged it.
The pre-trip your company requires is done on a trip. If the empty move is not already on your schedule, tap Create New Trip on your driver dashboard and fill in Schedule A Trip (the run can be Unplanned Trip). Then tap Start Trip; if you are running without a trailer, choose Bobtail as the Trailer Status. Once the trip is in progress, its pre-trip appears on the trip to complete.
