What communications to expect from FAST
Every message we send — learning emails, push notifications, and in-app alerts — with real examples.
FAST reaches out in three ways: automated Learning Center emails that help your team get the most out of the platform, push notifications for time-sensitive events, and in-app notifications inside FAST. This guide shows you exactly what each one looks like, who receives it, and how often — so there are no surprises in your inbox.
The short version: FAST personalizes what you get by your role and by what you’ve already read or completed. You only ever see content that’s relevant to you, on a sensible cadence, and every email has one-click unsubscribe. Nothing is spammy, and nothing is shared between companies.
1. Automated Learning Center emails
These keep your team learning FAST without anyone lifting a finger. FAST writes and designs every email; our email provider only delivers it. Who gets what depends on their role:
| Your role | What you receive | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Owners & officers | A high-level “what’s new in FAST” briefing plus how many of your team are certified | Every ~2 weeks |
| Managers & specialists | Deep-dive workflow guides for your job, a certification to work toward, and a “pick up where you left off” nudge | Weekly |
| Drivers | Friendly reminders of the guides that make day-to-day work easier | About monthly |
👔 Executive briefing — “What’s new in FAST”
Who: owners and authorized officers. When: about every two weeks. A quick, high-level look at new features, plus a snapshot of how many of your team have earned a certification.
🛠 Weekly workflows — for managers & specialists
Who: payroll, business, maintenance, and dispatch managers. When: weekly. Hand-picked guides for your job, a recommended certification, and a reminder to resume any course you have in progress.
🚚 Driver tips — “Your FAST Helpdesk”
Who: drivers. When: about monthly. A friendly reminder of the step-by-step guides for reading your pay, submitting info, and getting the most out of the app.
🎓 Course progress & certifications
While you’re taking a certification course, FAST celebrates your progress in real time — a quick nudge toward the next step each time you finish a module…
…and a congratulations the moment you earn a certificate, with a suggestion for what to learn next.
⏳ A gentle nudge if you stall
If you start a certification but go quiet for a while, FAST sends one friendly reminder (at most once every two weeks) to help you pick back up. That’s it — no pestering.
2. Push notifications
Push notifications reach your phone or computer for time-sensitive events — the things you’d want to know the moment they happen. Common examples: your pay is ready, a settlement finished importing, your schedule changed, or a safety event needs review.
Push notifications are opt-in per device and per type. Turn them on — and choose exactly which kinds you want — from Profile → Notification Preferences.
3. In-app notifications
Inside FAST, the notification center gathers everything in one place so nothing slips by — new pay docs, schedule changes, compliance submissions, new applicants, and more. Unread items are marked so you can catch up at a glance.
Your company can also send you direct messages by push, email, or text for things that matter — pay is ready, a schedule change, or a safety notice.
You’re always in control
- No spam. Each person is emailed only on their role’s cadence — tracked per person.
- No empty emails. If there’s nothing new for you, that cycle is simply skipped.
- One email, even across companies. If you belong to more than one FAST company, you still get a single digest.
- Always unsubscribable. Every email has one-click unsubscribe; push has per-type toggles.
- Your company’s content stays private. You may receive your own company’s internal guides — but only your own company’s, and only inside the email itself.
No. Learning Center emails are automatic for every team member based on their role. Push notifications are the only opt-in — enable them under Profile → Notification Preferences.
No. Cadence is capped per person (owners ~2 weeks, managers weekly, drivers ~monthly), empty cycles are skipped, and every email can be unsubscribed in one click.

Never. Emails carry platform-wide FAST content plus — optionally — your own company’s internal guides, scoped strictly to your company and rendered only inside the email.
Use the unsubscribe link on any email, or toggle individual push types under Profile → Notification Preferences.
